2007 Border Days, Grangeville, Idaho July 2nd, 3rd and 4th ![]() |
What a grand opportunity for RMS Lippyluver Luc to show that donkeys are a force to be reckoned with as once again he took on the duties of escorting the event’s Grand Marshall, Mr. Jack Marek, through three days of parades and rodeo grand entries. Luc practically drove himself through the six events. It was reported to me that someone came running into the local saddle shop with oodles of questions about the handsome donkey in the front of the parade. At the rodeo we visited with the masses as the kids were petting the pretty donkey. The announcers have come to respect Luc and his abilities; it is a pleasure to hear them sing his praises. Luc was enamored with the clown’s miniature donkey at the rodeo and wanted to take her home with us, Sis looked willing to escape the bright lights for a peaceful farm life with Lucers! Two of the largest pleasures I receive every year are the honor of getting to know these wonderful folks who are chosen to represent Idaho’s oldest rodeo as Grand Marshall and the chance to let Luc show the crowds how really kewell donkeys can be. |
