This was Liberty’s first big public outing without Luc and Dev. It was a big day for Liberty and he could not have been more perfect. We connected up with a friend who has not driven in years and went into the mountains above the town of Clearwater. We were the first to arrive and not sure we were in the right place so we turned the trailer around, parked and scouted out the area. While I was standing near the pickup a cow elk with a brand new tiny baby walked within 50 feet of me. What a sight!

We were all kicked backed and totally relaxed. The weather was perfect, the setting was beautiful. We had another long ear on the trip a beautiful young molly mule and her rider. There were two tiny hitches of miniature horses that Liberty found fascinating. We drove the forest roads into the woods unhitched had a wonderful lunch, a great visit and a super drive back to the trailer. Liberty, you did excellent! I am so proud of our boy!

This turned out to be the pre-drive of the driving group, the date had been changed and we had not been notified. None of us minded as we had a ball! My friend Rosalie is ready to take over the lines and start driving and riding donkeys with me.
