It started out as an idea….Then a search….then revamping the idea and finally a

A Team of Driving Donkeys!

As in all great plans when team number one did not work we went into action putting Plan B into effect. Luc and Liberty are the right combination! Here’s our saga starting from the beginning.

We started out with ONE donkey to raise our QH babies, that soon turned into TWO donkeys, one to raise the babies while the other one played with us. The horses eventually disappeared and we had two nice donkeys Luc and Dev.

One morning as Jim was watching the pasture boys out of the clear blue he said, “Wouldn’t it be nice to find another donkey just like Luc and have a team.” No problem for me except for the matching Luc part. It became apparent matching Dev would be easier than finding a soul mate for Luc. How fun it would be to have a team of mammoths. Liberty was added to the fold in the spring of 2006 and we were off ‘n running.

What turned into a surprise was the time frame. At the end of Liberty’s first year of driving, we put the boys together and waa-laa Team Donk was born in August 2006
