When My Donkey Brayed

Team Donk

HUGE NEWS…..dateline Grangeville, Idaho.
After a year of silence RMS Lippyluver Luc has brayed!!!!

Kristi, who is owned by the infamous large standard wonder-donk, thought she heard him bray on Friday but was unsure it was actually uttered from his lips. Last night, Saturday Nov 8th, 2003 at feeding time, 4 p.m. to be exact, Luc actually sang for her like the Rocky Mountain Songbird he was bred to be! Note: she is the only witness to this magical moment, but is a creditable and upstanding donkey mom (in her own mind).
YIPPEE Kingma Farms is now Hee Haw powered in surround stereo sound!!!Here is the scoop… and remember you heard it here first!! It wasn’t the earth shattering song of Sweet Little Sister Sara (a standard jenny who is here for a short time). Her song is more like “I AM HERE, Where the ‘ell R U? And git over here NOW”! Or the Star Wars Chewbacca sound of Devor…that goes on and on…inhales and exhales. It’s more of a sweet serenade of Love…”Darling I want you, I need you, I want you to come and hug me now and forever, my delightful food and water provider. The woman whom I hold in the highest esteem”…..

The scientific world will say it is the result of an addition of two more sets of ears. They have made this a high priority of study of this amazing phenomenon. We are sure as soon as the results are in a special noble peace prize will be awarded. Mrs. Kingma is elated and will not be going in to have her hearing tested, “I hear just fine…thank you very much!” she is reported to have commented.

May-Mid July 2004 Luc brayed for Helen’s rabbit pellets Hamilton, Montana.
Mid Aug 2004 Brayed in Burley, Idaho when he heard Kristi’s voice.
Aug 28, 2004 Brayed to Jim wanting attention at home.
September 4, 2004 First public bray Kamiah BBQ Days Parade, he was looking for others like himself.
October 2, 2004 Nezperce parade he brayed to a field of horses and is braying more at home now for evening grain.
His most notorious bray was his first stream crossing. Check out Luc’s riding adventures 2005 to find out the rest of that story.
